Looking for a travel jacket that can do it all? The BauBax 2.0 calls itself “the Swiss Army Knife of Travel Wear” and it already has a huge following on Kickstarter, raising more than $1 million.
What makes BauBax 2.0 so special? With more than two dozen features, it can solve nearly any travel problem.
There’s a built-in neck pillow with one-press deflation, travel footrest, eye mask, blanket, detachable gloves, battery charger pocket, AirPod straps, drink holder, microfiber cloth for lens cleaning, foldable travel bottle, earplugs, stylus and pen zipper, keychain, bottle opener, whistle and more. Special storage areas are intended to hold passports, wallets, tablets, smartphones, sunglasses, earphones, pens, AirPods and tech chargers. There’s even a super-secret pocket (the location of the pocket in the jacket is not publicly available knowledge, provided only to the wearer and different in each jacket style) and hand-warming pockets.
Think having all that in your pockets could spell trouble at airport security? Think again. The passport and boarding pass pocket is easily reachable, and everything else can stay as-is as it slides through the security scanner.
BauBax 2.0 comes in four different styles — bomber jacket, windbreaker, vest and sweatshirt, in both men’s and women’s fits. Colors include black, blue, olive, red, charcoal and navy. Some styles additionally come with a detachable hood.
To receive a sweatshirt or windbreaker, make a Kickstarter pledge of $129, for delivery in August. To receive a vest, make a Kickstarter pledge of $139. To receive a bomber jacket, make a Kickstarter pledge of $149.
