Travel gadgets and gizmos flood the travelsphere every year and claim to be the best, newest, most inventive way to use accessories and clothing as travel solutions. One such item for women may just be qualified enough to claim such titles while remaining a wearable and fashionable wardrobe staple.
Adventure apparel company Clothing Arts sells an ingenious travel wrap skirt that can be useful for female travelers who seek storage options but don’t want to carry around a bulky bag all day. The knee-length skirt is modest enough for foreign countries and all types of weather. Five hidden storage pockets keep valuables thief-proof: three pockets on the side of the skirt are sized for items like passports, mobile phones and credit cards, while the two posterior pockets are covered with camouflaging flaps to contribute to the discrete quality.
Made of a quick-drying durable nylon (that feels more like a cotton blend fabric), the soft surface wicks away moisture with its breathable surface.
The travel wrap skirt can be purchased on Clothing Art’s website for just shy of $100 and comes in three colors: sandstone, navy and black. Sizes range from 2 to 14. The price tag may be steep but compared with high-fashion bag brands that you’ll no longer have to lug around, it’s a steal.
