Contact lenses are expensive and not the most durable. It can be a pain to bring them along for a journey and lose them at every turn. Most people just throw the case into their luggage and hope to find it later. This isn’t a reliable way to keep track of contact lenses.

The best solution is to purchase a contact lens container. A container specifically for contacts will help you from losing them while abroad. This way you can rely on contacts instead of glasses and won’t have to worry about glare from your glasses in photos.

There are many of these available for sale online. For a more personalized kit, head to Etsy where there are many cute and colorful contact lenses boxes. There are also simpler versions on Amazon that don’t cost that much money. This case comes with a mirror, liquid bottle for solution and a double lenses box. It’s also a travel-sized product, so you will have no trouble transporting it from place to place.

Be sure to order a couple of travel-sized containers of solution to bring as well. Never use water to clean contacts.

How to Explore Neuschwanstein Castle

Most people know Neuschwanstein Castle as Walt Disney’s inspiration for both Cinderella’s and Sleeping Beauty’s castles, but it is also filled with history and stories from German royalty. In 1868, King Ludwig II began construction of the medieval-style castle to live in. Sadly, it wasn’t finished before he died, so the king never got to see the finished product. Today, the castle is privately owned, but travelers can still explore it on a guided audio tour.
