Exhaustion is a common trait among travelers. Spending so many hours hopping planes, exploring new streets and climbing to the top of temples can wreak havoc on the sleep cycle. But even lying down at a proper time each night doesn’t always guarantee a good night’s rest. In fact, many of us seem to stay tired no matter how much we sleep. Eversleep is here to figure out why that is.
This sleep tracker is designed to monitor complex relationships between your body’s behavior and vitals while you rest in order to determine why you’re still tired when you wake up. It does so by examining multiple factors like blood oxygen levels to test for sleep apnea, your movement, pulse rate, snoring and possible insomnia.
Eversleep then analyzes the data to create a coaching plan to help you sleep better and feel more rested. An accompanying app delivers all of this information straight to your phone. It offers tips and aids based upon your specific sleep problems and patterns and notifies you if there might be something you need to speak with a doctor about.
The device is worn like a watch while also clipping over one of your fingers while you sleep. The Eversleep tracker retails online for $179 and is currently available for preorder.
