As much as we would all love travel all the time, there are few people that can live their lives on the road.
Whether it’s work commitments or financial constraints, most people have to spend some time at home. Luckily, there is now a way to experience travel without leaving home.
Through My Eyes is a project designed to show the lives of extraordinary people through film. Each of the films is shot in the point of view perspective, transporting the viewer to the place in question and allowing them to live through the eyes of another.
Creator Adam Rotman recorded stories of people around the world, and is now ready to put them out online. In order to do so, he made a Kickstarter campaign that fortunately reached its target, and now the films will be shown as part of a subscription service.
A one-month subscription costs $10 during the campaign, with three months costing $20. The trailer, which you can see on the Kickstarter page, certainly looks interesting, and it’s good to see a new way of making travel films.
With smartphones and GoPros now ubiquitous, the amount of travel content available is simply outrageous. However, if you want to watch films that make you feel as though you are living the journey for yourself, it’s time to take a look at Through My Eyes.
