Within a year, Birchbox grew to 45,000 subscribers, emphasizing the success of the company’s model and allowing other entrepreneurs to offer competing beauty boxes. There’s now subscription boxes of everything from men’s luxury grooming products to makeup and skincare products to healthy snacks and even dog toys.
