Fravel Might Be the Cutest Suitcase in the World

Luggage comes in all shapes and sizes, but Fravel is truly unique.

Not only have its makers branded it the “world’s cutest suitcase,” but it has swiveling ears that move when it is happy. If it sounds like a gimmick, that’s because it is, but at the time of writing 280 people had pledged $66,795 on Kickstarter to make Fravel a reality.

One of the ways you can spoil your new suitcase is by petting its squishy ears, which react to your touch just like a dog or a cat. With paw details on the wheels and a heart-shaped LED light that beats as you move around, the makers certainly have an eye for detail.

Aside from these special features, the Fravel is a fairly normal suitcase, with dimensions that mean it will fit in most overhead bins. It’s not entirely clear whether the Fravel is marketed at children or at young adults who want to stand out from the crowd, but, overall, it is pretty cute.

If you’re bored of plain black luggage that looks the same as everyone else’s, the Fravel could be for you. The ears and heart details are special enough, but it also comes in banana, mint, cream, strawberry and grape colors.

At $399, the Fravel doesn’t come cheap, but it does offer something different. And, it must be said, slightly odd.
