While it’s quite common to see people traveling the world with Bluetooth speakers, they are generally limited to simply playing the music provided by another Bluetooth-enabled device. This is not the case with the Triby, a new product by Invoxia, the first third-party hardware offering Amazon Alexa voice service.

Firstly, the Triby offers fantastic sound. But it, while able to, doesn’t require you to connect to your own music but gives you free access to Spotify Connect, more than 27,000 radio stations and your music. Because it uses Amazon’s Alexa you also get to use all those services, that presently allow you to call an Uber, order a pizza, set timers and more, all with the sound of your voice — which Triby can hear clearly from 15 feet away.

Built for the kitchen, it’s also great for poolside use, the beach and wherever you might find yourself. With a dedicated app, the Triby is so much more than music and allows hands-free and free of charge calling over VoiP and to other phones. The app allows you to manage all this easily and is perfect for travel if you know you will have access to WiFi.

It’s flat, small and light, so it packs easily. It’s magnetized for home use, so you can simply put it on the refrigerator to play music, ask it to set a timer or call your roommate to remind them that you need more garlic while they are out doing the shopping, all with one button.
