Shopping for wedding or birthday gifts can seem trite when a new scarf or a gift card are up for consideration. But a new program called Tinggly lets gifters provide loved one with the gift of choice and the gift of an adventurous experience.

To purchase a gift, visit Tinggly’s website, select a gift box and leave an optional personal message. When the box arrives to the loved one’s door, a list of hundreds of worldwide activities and experiences will emerge, all involving exploring the world and challenging the norm.

Gifters who select which experiences will be available within the box may choose from four options on the website: Essential is the least expensive of the group ($74) and features experiences such as rock climbing in Ireland, desert camping in Jordan and swimming with sharks in Indonesia, as well as domestic pursuits like horseback riding in California or a beer bus tour in Colorado. At the Premium level ($105), options include kayaking in Chicago or snowshoeing in Norway. The Ultimate package ($265) features more activities for two people such as spa treatments and food tours. Finally, the Bucket List option has a list of individual experiences with varying prices that can be purchased a la carte. Ride aboard a jet fighter plane in Latvia ($1,600) or take a jungle survivor tour in South America ($1,900).

There is no need to start panicking about how little money you have in your travel savings account as the voucher is redeemable for the following 24 months after receipt.
