Take your tea-making abilities to the next level with the futuristic, third-generation iKettle. Created by U.K. brand Smarter, it embraces the British tradition of perfectly brewed tea and ensures just the right temperature every time.
Boil water remotely from anywhere using the iKettle paired with the Smarter app. The app can adjust the temperature of the water and even schedule a Wake Up Mode so your hot water is ready and waiting for you first thing in the morning. The Home Mode is similar, ensuring as soon as you walk through the door in the evening the water is just right for a piping hot cuppa. The kettle will keep water at the same temperature for 40 minutes after boiling. Remaining water levels are monitored via the app as well.
Beyond being useful for tea, instant coffee or even instant food items like oatmeal and ramen, the iKettle is also designed with bottle-feeding parents in mind. The iKettle can be turned on from the nursery, and an alert is sent straight to the app when the precise safe temperature for bottle-feeding is met.
The iKettle likewise can be integrated with your other smart home products. Set your Hue lights up to blink when the water boils. Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant can take a voice command to set the iKettle in action. You can even use a Nest video baby monitor to start the iKettle as soon as a child wakes up.
The iKettle (third generation) is available at Best Buy stores and online for $150.
