The creator of the Lotus and the Artichoke cookbook series turned his attention to India for the fifth book. Justin P. Moore spent a combined two years in India researching the recipes before settling down to write, illustrate, cook, photograph and design the book. Now it is subject to a Kickstarter campaign designed to raise funds for printing.

The previous four books in the series covered vegan cooking, Mexico, Sri Lanka and Malaysia, and proved to be a roaring success with readers. The Indian version will cover more than 90 recipes with more than 70 full-page photos, interspersed with personal stories and artwork from the author’s many trips to the country.

If you are interested in learning Indian cooking, there will be regional favorites from all over the country as well as classic dishes and family favorites. Judging by the success of the previous books, it looks like the book will be a great resource.

The physical book costs $30 and comes with an e-book download for when you are on the move. Check out more details on the Kickstarter page, and good luck learning one of the world’s favorite cuisines!
