Are you that person who’s really good at losing their keys and not being able to find them when you’re running late? Or maybe you have a Mary Poppins bag, and often spend at least 10 minutes digging around for your wallet? Pixie will be your new favorite new travel companion.
Pixie Points are tiny homing devices for all your things. The little chips (shaped like guitar picks) are each fixed with a signaling technology that links your things to an app on your smartphone. The best part? Your phone’s camera becomes a treasure map and “x” marks the spot of your accidental hidden gem.
You can “pixify” your luggage, and when something isn’t quite where it’s supposed to be, the Pixie app will send you a notification. As they say, “Put ‘Left Behind’ Behind You” (cute slogan, eh?).
Pixie, however, is fairly pricey. A pack of four pixie points costs about $40 if you order online. But if you’re prone to forgetfulness, it may be a worthy investment before your next trip.
Just don’t lose your phone.
