Q Flex

The question mark-shaped Q Flex, a back-massaging tool, gained notoriety after a successful bid on Shark Tank. The item impressed the judges, and received financing to help bring it to a wider market.

The device is described as “a self acupressure device designed and engineered to relieve stress and tension by applying pressure to specific pressure points on the body.” The user simply swings the curved handle over the back, and presses on sore points or knots.

Though initially awkward to use, with some practice it gets easier. And the results are effective: Just by pressing the ball at the end of the device on the sore point, tension is relieved instantly.

There are plenty of in-home massage devices, but this is certainly one of the best. It’s lightweight and durable, and doesn’t require power or another person to use. It also travels well: Despite being long, it’s fairly flat, and can be packed away and stored for easy transport in case you want to use it on the go. Otherwise, it fits easily on a shelf or in a closet at home.
