When sleeping in unfamiliar places in foreign countries, comfort and warmth are often sacrificed. However, Sea To Summit, a manufacturer of outdoor and travel products, has designed a convenient way to make the best of a bad situation. Their silk sleeping bag liners provide an extra layer of warmth in the cold and cool in the heat. While many might use the liner in sleeping bags, others may opt to try it in a more traditional bed. These liners work well for replacing or providing a barrier between questionable hostel or hotel linens.

The Premium Silk Travel Liner ($64.95) is made from a fine ripstop, AA grade silk. The design features a built-in pillowcase and comes in a variety of colors including navy, eucalyptus, pacific and berry. Because of the silk material’s inability to stretch, this product features panels along the seams made of a malleable Lycra-polyester material. The lightweight, 4.6-ounce design is machine washable and comes in a compact travel bag for easy transport.

The silk/cotton-blend travel liner ($49.95) is a more economical alternative to the standard silk liner. Additionally, the cotton material acts to absorb some of the moisture that accumulates during the night.

United flyers are sure to notice these enhancements from the moment they step on board: Each new or updated plane sports remodeled seats, seatback entertainment screens for everyone, Bluetooth connectivity and more, all adding up to a better experience on every journey.
