In line with the ongoing trend of going plastic free, Ethique Beauty delivers products without using plastic containers. The company uses solid beauty bars for hair, face, body and home.
The mission is to help eradicate plastic waste. Since its inception in 2012, the Australia-based company prevented an estimated 400,000 plastic bottles from being made and disposed. More than 40 types of products are available. Choose from items including shampoo, conditioner, cleansers, moisturizers, laundry detergent and dog shampoo. Pricing varies by product and ranges $8.50–32. Products are made with ethically sourced, natural, sustainable ingredients, including kiwifruit oil, brown sugar, Epsom salt, castor wax and ground coffee beans. Products are vegan and palm oil-free. For shoppers in the United States, products can be purchased directly on Amazon.
Ethique commits to donating 20 percent of annual profits to charity. The company supports several charities on an ongoing basis and also adopted several in-need animals to pay for their care. Check the blog for tips and advice on product use and how to live more sustainably.
