Although many people use a camping trip to escape from their hyper-connected digital lives and truly appreciate nature, there are certain situations in which you may benefit from Internet access. Or perhaps you are just an Internet addict who cannot pass a weekend without posting photos of your dehydrated camp food on Instagram. Either way, devices such as the Verizon Jetpack MiFi 6620L offer the possibility to take an Internet connection anywhere there are 4G LTE or 3G services.
Take your tablet or laptop away with you and connect to the Internet in a huge variety of areas where there is no fixed connection. A major bonus of the Jetpack is it provides connectivity even when outside of the United States. The device can connect up to 15 WiFi enabled devices, offers great battery life compared to rival products and can even charge your devices if they run out of battery.
Personal hotspots allow users to take their digital lives into the wilderness and upload photos and videos to the cloud to avoid losing them on the rest of the trip. For those who live more permanently in isolated areas, devices such as the Jetpack may provide an invaluable link to the outside world.
If you think your trip would be enhanced by having the option of getting online, the Jetpack is currently on sale for a discounted $49.99 from the Verizon website.
