Endless hours of exploration in a new city can easily cause us to lose track of time. In doing so, we often also forget to keep our bodies supplied with everything it needs to stay healthy and ready to tackle the day. Water is one of the first things that falls to the wayside, which is why we think the LVL Wearable Hydration Monitor is such a great device.
This smart little monitor tracks your hydration level to let you know when you’ve gone a little too long without a crisp drink. The goal is to help prevent dehydration and keep you going stronger for longer, making it not just great for travel in dry climates but just about anywhere you might go. It uses infrared light to measure the water level in your blood, in case you weren’t sure how it worked.
The device doesn’t stop there, though; it also monitors your heart rate and activity levels to help paint an overall picture of your daily health. You can use it to track your daily activity or wear it to the gym or on a jog.
In addition, the LVL Hydration Monitor can also track your sleep levels and predict how your daily cycle is affecting your mood. The device racked up more than $1 million on Kickstarter and is now available for pre-order online.
