Reviews / Hotel

Aruba is a lively paradise filled with happy people and amazing resorts. My family has taken a handful of trips to Aruba over the years with each other and has stayed at a few of these locations. Our favorite, and the one we keep coming back for, was the Hyatt Regency.

The Hyatt in Aruba is a beautiful hotel located on the popular strip of Palm Beach. Its open-air lobby greets you with a breezy Miami vibe, and guests are offered complimentary Champagne upon arrival — welcoming you to the island lifestyle. The hotel’s main attractions, its pool, casino and bars are all located on this level.

Once you step out of the lobby, you are greeted by the ground’s lush gardens and wildlife. The hotel has several breeds of parrots and birds for guests to say hello to on their walk to the pool; some even say hi back. The ponds and waterfalls surrounding your walk are also home to a pair of gorgeous black swans, who can also be spotted from the hotel’s restaurant, surrounded by water.

Once you get down to the pool area, music, drinks and water activities are the main attraction. The pool has a waterslide for guests to enjoy and a swim-up bar for drinks and food. The beach is dotted with tiki huts for guests to stake their claim early in the morning, as they fill up fast.

The beach is lined with vendors for watersports and great pier restaurants. Aruba is an amazing place to be no matter where you stay, but the Hyatt will have you coming back to this happy island.
