Reviews / Hotel

The Royal Tulip is a visually stunning, modern hotel with spectacular views and the type of price tag that tends to accompany such things. It’s one of the largest hotels I’ve stayed at during my travels and had numerous amenities including multiple pools, restaurants, a gym, three tennis courts, a fitness center and saunas. It was almost enough to make me never want to leave.

The hotel itself had a crisp design that, while pleasing, became kind of static after a few days. Still, though, the views from outside the window of both the pool and the nearby lake were pretty astonishing. It’s pretty easy to tell from the décor the hotel caters mostly to business professionals rather than families or budget-friendly tourists.

The staff was incredibly helpful at all times and cleanliness seems like a top priority, always nice. The only issue was with the location, at least in terms of distance from the center of town. Though Uber was available, it still took about 15 minutes to get anywhere. As I typically book places within walking distances to most attractions, this stood out as a negative for me. That’s probably nitpicking, though.

I would definitely recommend a stay here for anyone visiting Brasilia in the near future, and would return myself.
