It seems lately there’s a dating app or website for just about every category of person. Now, there’s also one for travelers.
The website is called MissTravel and it was founded in 2012 by an MIT alum named Brandon Wade. The site has more than 600,000 members in more than 135 countries, so you theoretically have access to an incredible diversity of people.
The travel-centric site allows users to travel to faraway spots with strangers, all in the hope of finding a romantic connection. And if that doesn’t work out, at least you’ve gotten to travel.
There are a few different categories to pursue: Travel With Me encourages users to meet up and visit a destination together. Come To Me and Show Me Your Town involve meeting at one party’s hometown.
The service allows travel expenses to be covered by one party or split in half. Users can list trips they’re interested in taking and divide them into categories like romance, foodie, luxury, adventure or local. The site is free to female members while a membership for males costs $39.99 a month.
The site does consider traveling with strangers may involve a certain element of danger or uncertainty; the site lists safety tips and users must be 18 or older and must fully complete their profiles, including photo, before participating.

United Continues Its Global Expansion
United Airlines keeps soaring to new heights, recently announcing another expansion of its leading global route network. The airline added new non-stop flights between Newark (EWR) and Marrakesh (RAK), Morocco; Tokyo (NRT) and Cebu (CEB), Philippines; and Houston (IAH) and Medellin (MDE), Colombia. That’s not all: United also plans to increase flights to popular worldwide destinations including Hong Kong (HKG); Seoul (INC), South Korea; and Porto (OPO), Portugal. Following the recent agreement to increase flights between the U.S. and Chinese governments, the airline now adds four weekly flights from Los Angeles (LAX) to Shanghai (PVG).
