With its laidback beaches, mountains and rainforests, Kaua’i takes the No. 2 spot — ideal for outdoor adventure seekers. The No. 3 destination, Maui, is home to romantic luxe resorts and exotic jungles. The list also includes Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and Aspen, which is known for its winter sports, cozy taverns and beautiful mountain views.
For budget-savvy travelers, take in the picturesque, Spanish moss-lined streets and dynamic food scene in Savannah, or the rustic charm and colorful foliage of Portland, Maine. The No. 3 destination, Sedona, draws travelers to its hiking trails and striking desert views. Couples can also enjoy world-class spas, golf courses and restaurants in the downtown area. Also on the list is Cannon Beach, Ore., and Asheville, N.C. — each offering something special for couples looking for an affordable and memorable trip.
