Salt Lake City has an incredible backdrop of beautiful, snowcapped mountains; however, beyond the mesmerizing nature, Salt Lake City is a fantastic metropolitan city. Many bypass it since they head right for Park City, but an overnight stay will also guarantee you a good time off the mountain.

 

Despite the Mormon-influenced conservative culture, the nightlife in SLC is still impressive. There are a number of fantastic bars and clubs that attract the young crowds, working executives, hipsters, moms, dads, bikers and ski bums. There is a little bit for everyone.
