Top 5 / North America

There is no shortage of good food in LA’s Koreatown. The problem is settling on where to go and what to order. If you are just in the mood for a snack before a show or if you want to have a sit down meal with 15 of your closest friends, all of this is possible. Take your time and more importantly, take your pick.

The Line Hotel

This sounds like an unlikely spot to grab a decent snack, but this boutique hotel always has something interesting happening in its lobby and one of those things is food. Roy Choi always has something cooking even if it is just a slice of Kimchi pizza you can grab and eat in five minutes for less than $5.

Sun Nong Dan

This is the place to go for soup, noodles and stew. Serving seven days a week, you will never be disappointed.

Mapo Dak Galbi

This restaurant only serves one dish because it is that good. It specializes in spicy stir-fried chicken served with crunchy cabbage and it is all you will want to eat going forward.

Soot Bull Jeep

You have to have at least one solid BBQ location in hand and that place might just be Soot Bull Jeep. This does not have any bells and whistles, just good meat, all of the side dishes you could want and a comfortable setting.

Kogi BBQ Tacos

This is cheating just a little bit, but the art of the Korean taco must be sought out and given its proper reverence. The flavors and kick of the seasoning pair perfectly with a corn tortilla and an ice-cold beer. Now you are ready to go out into the world.

Interior Upgrades Begin Rolling Out Across United Fleet

United Airlines is in the midst of a major initiative to modernize its fleet over the next several years.
