El Mural de los Poblanos, Puebla
Splash out on some fine dining in Puebla, the seat of Mexican gastronomy. El Mural combines traditional cooking techniques with modern ingredients, served up in the shadow of murals by celebrated artist Antonio Alvarez Moran.
Restaurante LUM, San Cristobal de las Casas
Well designed and trendy with a cool outdoor area, this restaurant serves specialties from the Chiapas, Veracruz and Yucatan regions. It is found inside the Hotel Bo, San Cristobal’s first designer hotel.
Aroma Divino, Puerto Escondido
Take in the sunset after a long day surfing at this atmospheric beachside spot. It’s cheap and cheerful, with vegetarian food dominating the menu.
Entre Tierras, Puebla
Puebla deserves its reputation as a hotspot for foodies, and Entre Tierras is part of that. It’s a great little place, with a sophisticated atmosphere and a menu that takes you on a tour of traditional ingredients and dishes.
