As one of the top honeymoon destinations in the world, you can bet St. Martin and St. Maarten have some of the finest restaurants in existence. Here are a few of our favorites.
Bistrot Caraibes
Bistrot Caraibes is the most highly-rated restaurant on the island for good reason. The views, like most places in St Martin, are absolutely stunning, and the food is no different. Do yourself a favor and try the lobster thermidor.
La Villa Restaurant
La Villa, located on Grand Case, is most notable for its friendly staff, but the food is pretty excellent too. It’s one of the best places on the island for French food and the atmosphere manages to be both relaxing and upscale at the same time.
Chez Leandra
For authentic Caribbean fare, look no further than Chez Leandra. This family-owned establishment is one of the hippest places on the islands with amazingly affordable, delicious food. The jerk chicken, in particular, is out of this world.
Saratoga
There’s no better place for a date night on St. Maarten than Saratoga. The American-style restaurant features a rotating menu of steak, lamb and pasta. The views overlooking the harbor are both romantic and breathtaking.
Little Jerusalem
Visitors flock to Little Jerusalem for the company of the affable owners and delectable food. This Mediterranean fusion restaurant seems to be little more than a hole in the wall, but it’s the best place to go for meeting friendly locals and escaping the couples that constantly flood the islands.
