Want something totally unique and out of the ordinary when you’re staying in Las Vegas? Try one of these experiences.
Not your average food tour, Lip Smacking Foodie Tours offers guests the chance to experience five different highly acclaimed eateries across the city, whether you want to stick to the Strip or see the lesser-known downtown side of Vegas. Whichever suits your style, you’ll be treated to VIP fun the entire time.
If you’d rather have adrenaline than a great meal, take to the skies with Sky Combat Ace. A trained fighter pilot hands over the controls so you can test out your aerial acrobatics or simulate the fighter pilot scene from your favorite movie. There’s nothing simulated about the experience, though. This is a real plane with real thrills.
This Vegas attraction doesn’t get nearly enough attention. The super-cool Neon Boneyard in downtown is several acres of Vegas history. See awesome signage, including more than 150 restored ones. Take plenty of photos. In addition to tours, you can also enjoy special events like hot yoga and artist open houses.
It might sound strange, but this experience is pretty popular and you have to book in advance. The Zappos retail brand relocated to Vegas’s old City Hall and now offers free headquarters tours to the public, showing off its “non-traditional” work environment.
Beyond the shopping found on the Strip, the Downtown Container Park offers a different kind of shopping, with lots of small businesses all inside sustainable shipping containers. In addition to the cool finds, you can also catch live outdoor entertainment and some wacky artwork (like the fire-breathing praying mantis).
