My Plain Jane by Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton and Jodi Meadows

Fans of classic literature will rejoice over this novel. It’s a follow-up to the popular New York Times bestseller My Lady Jane. In this adventure, Jane Eyre takes Charlotte Bronte on a ghost-hunting mystery. A teacher is murdered, so Jane and her friends work hard to get to the bottom of it. It’s a bunch of twists and turns with some classic characters thrown in the mix. The book came out June 26.

Royals by Rachel Hawkins

This book is a good one to bring to the beach or lake house and read by the water. It’s the story of a normal girl named Daisy Winters who goes from working at her local Walmart to moving to a castle in Scotland with her sister and future brother-in-law, the Crown Prince of Scotland. Daisy must now learn the ways of Scottish royalty all while trying not to fall for the man she’s determined to hate.

She copes with being alone for awhile, until she hears news of another spaceship joining hers. She begins exchanging messages with the captain, but soon realizes maybe she was better off alone.
