Are you obsessed with avocado toast, guacamole and avocado ice cream? Celebrate everyone’s favorite green fruit at The Cado. The pop-up museum honors the many uses of avocados for a perfectly Instagrammable experience.
Much like the wildly popular Museum of Ice Cream pop-up, The Cado is a limited-run art experience. The exhibit opens June 16 at Liberty Station in San Diego. Participants enter The Cado in groups of about 12 every 15 minutes. The entire experience takes about an hour.
What would an avocado experience be without tastings? Chefs and food partners will offer California-inspired bites highlighting avocados. Please disclose any dietary restrictions before sampling the food.
Photography is extremely encouraged, so brush up on your Instagram skills. Make sure you tag The Cado on Instagram and Facebook.
Purchase an avocado tote bag to carry with you before you go. Each purchase supports artisans in Kenya.
Tickets must be purchased online prior to the event. No tickets will be sold at the door. Price of admission costs $27, plus tax and a service fee. A limited amount of family ticket discounts are available for Wednesday mornings. Anyone with a valid military ID also receives a discount.
