As the world gears up for festival season, everyone looks forward to partying under the stars.

Coachella is one of the most famous names on the U.S. festival circuit, and draws top artists from across the musical spectrum. Headliners this year include Radiohead, Lady Gaga and Kendrick Lamar, as well as Travis Scott, New Order and Gucci Mane.

Such is the popularity of Coachella, it runs over two successive weekends, with the same lineup of artists playing the same days. That means you can choose to attend the festival from April 14–16 or April 21–23. Of course, day tickets are also available for those that can’t commit to the whole three days.

For those who want the full festival experience, a three-day ticket is a must. You can camp on the grounds, bring your own car or camper van or check into some of the premium camping accommodations provided by the festival organizers.

In terms of getting to the event, it couldn’t be easier. Palm Springs (PSP) is the closest airport to the festival site at Indio, Calif., but flights tend to be expensive. Most people fly into Los Angeles (LAX), which has direct flights to major hubs across the world.

From here, you can rent a car or take a festival shuttle to the site. If you don’t want to camp, check into a hotel nearby and take one of the many shuttles to the festival each day.

General admission passes cost $399, while a pass with unlimited shuttle travel will set you back $474.
