If you pay any attention to social media marketing, you’ve noticed brands such as Sugar Bear Hair, Fit Tea and other health and beauty products being promoted by Instagram models and beauty bloggers. The newest product splashed across our feeds is Dirty Lemon.
Dirty Lemon is a beverage set that comes in sleek, black-and-white bottles that you can only order exclusively through text message. There are Dirty Lemons for detox, energy, skin+hair and sleep, each claiming to help you do just as they say.
The exclusivity of the ordering, trendiness of the packaging and hefty price tag all make this product intriguing, but are they worth it?
Dirty Lemon Detox, the most talked about of the bunch, claims to help you detox for six days through just water, lemon, herbal extracts and activated charcoal (giving it an intriguing black color). This combination is said to calm the stomach, support liver and kidney function and trap impurities in the body.
Several lifestyle writers claimed to feel more energized, better rested and healthier while on the cleanse. Some claim it even tastes great, a far cry from many other cleanses and teas. The rest is hearsay. If you’re willing to cough up $65 a case you can find out what all the buzz is about for yourself.
