Located in Bucks County, Pa., New Hope is a charming town popular as a daytrip destination for visitors. Besides its famed shopping, dining and cultural attractions, the town is known for its haunted history. Ghost Tours of New Hope takes scary story lovers through New Hope’s most haunted locations. With a history dating before the Revolutionary War, The Logan Inn is home to several ghosts — eight in total. Guests report seeing disappearing figures, disturbing sounds and moving objects. In the Aaron Burr House, visitors report seeing the ghost of Burr himself.
Meet the tour guide at the corner of Main and Ferry Streets. Tours run from June through the third weekend in November on Saturday nights. To keep with the Halloween season, during September and October tours meet each Friday and Saturday night, as well as Halloween night. Rain or shine, tours promptly begin at 8 p.m. No reservations are required. Tours cost $10 per person.
