Africa is burgeoning as a premiere global destination for travelers, for those in search of authentic experiences and adventure, as well as for the more discerning travelers looking for a unique luxury experience.
A recent Travel Weekly report revealed more and more people are opting for what has come to be known as a high-low safari. While Africa offers a host of high-end experiences and luxury accommodations, often costing travelers a minimum of $3,000 per day, they also offer so much in the ways of natural beauty, wildlife and culture that can be experienced for as little as $300 per day. The recent high-low safari trend aims for the middle.
Tour group Safari Pros introduced the concept, which involves a few days of rustic adventure-filled experiences followed by a stay in a luxury lodge. This concept appeals to travelers looking to get back to the basics as well as travelers looking for the comfort and amenities often excluded from traditional safaris. The new trend offers an authentic safari experience, superior guides, comfortable accommodations and great food.
The best trips provide unique memorable experiences along with the opportunity to relax and unwind in comfort, and the new high-low safari trend offers it all. It’s a new means of travel for a new generation of travelers.
