This Philadelphia bar and restaurant opened its doors in 1860, making it the oldest tavern in the city. Open daily, the restaurant serves classic pub grub and hosts special events year-round.
The Denver dining spot opened in 1893 to serve miners, cattle ranchers and other locals. Today, the restaurant continues the hearty menu tradition, offering Old West fare from elk to buffalo meat.
Built in 1825 as a trading post and coach stop, The Log Inn is the oldest restaurant in Indiana. President Abraham Lincoln dined at the restaurant in 1844. Guests can still visit the original room where he dined.
In a city known for its culinary scene, Commander’s Palace is a New Orleans legend. The fine dining restaurant opened in 1880. Enjoy Creole cuisine, 25-cent martini lunches and a Sunday jazz brunch in the elegant setting.
Boston’s Union Oyster House began serving food in 1826. The iconic restaurant is housed in a building dating back to the 1770s. President John F. Kennedy frequented the restaurant.
