There are pros and cons to staying in an Airbnb or other home rental verses a typical hotel, for sure. You have a little more privacy and space, but you forgo some of the services you may like, as well as that hotel “feel” that can’t really be replaced. HOTELette, however, wants to combine the best of both worlds, giving you everything you love about a high-end rental with all the amenities of a boutique hotel.
The HOTELette portfolio contains a growing collection of beautiful vacation rentals that hardly look like someone’s actual home — they’d fit easier in a decor or lifestyle magazine. Of course, unlike a traditional home rental, no one actualy lives in these homes when they’re not being rented by vacationers. HOTELette purchases the home and completely renovates it to match the HOTELette branding, as well as the local scene, wherever the property may be located. Plus, with a professional designer at the helm of the brand, you’re guaranteed to find a look you love when you open the door.
Currently, HOTELette only offers domestic properties, with the first in Nashville, and the next opening in Austin soon. New rentals are added on a regular basis (though all the extra touches make the growth process somewhat slow-going).
The Nashville property has seen success and high praise, both with glowing media coverage and sold-out bookings. The four-bedroom, two-bathroom property has a design that’s part-modern, part-minimalistic, part-rustic and part-posh, though somehow all those pieces come together in one cohesive whole. There’s a back yard and a master balcony, and it’s within walking distance of restaurants and an easy Uber ride from downtown Nashville. Plus, starting at only $200 a night, it’s a steal, as it sleeps 11.
