Lifestyle brand Refinery29 brings a pop-up art experience to San Francisco and Chicago this summer: 29Rooms.
The interactive experience features 29 uniquely designed spaces each boasting a different artistic exhibit from poetry to painting to technology. Refinery29 collaborates with artists and brands to create the imaginative interactive visual space encouraging self expression. Described as a “funhouse of style, culture and creativity,” the event’s theme is Turn It Into Art. Visitors are invited to create, play and explore the multisensory playground.
The annual event launched in 2015. New York and Los Angeles were the 2017 host cities of 29Rooms. The 2018 events take place in San Francisco (June 21–24) and Chicago (July 26–29). General admission costs $39 per person. The admission includes guaranteed, streamlined entry into the event for three hours. Tickets are sold online and cannot be purchased at the door.
