Only three years old, Life is Beautiful is one of the city’s most successful festivals. Unlike many other events that take place there, Life is Beautiful aims to go beyond the typical music festival and Las Vegas experience by incorporating art and science into the festival, as well as the local culinary scene.
The festival prides itself on inviting “people from all walks of life, generations, orientation, race, religion and nationality” for an “experience centered on music, art, taste and ideas.” For the first time, Life is Beautiful is partnering with M Modern Gallery to host an art gallery, set to feature more than 80 local and international artists that include Shepard Fairey and Frances Bean Cobain. Themed on “dark and eerie,” pieces will be on sale from $100 to $50,000.
For music, there will be three days packed with performances by the likes of Mumford & Sons, J. Cole, Major Lazer, The Shins, Jane’s Addiction and Empire of the Sun, among many more. Participating restaurants read like a list of local Vegas favorites that include 50 Shades of Green, Donut Bar, Park on Fremont, Wise Guys and more.
For tickets, visit lifeisbeautiful.com, where you can purchase single-day tickets for $125 and weekend passes for $285.
