A yoga retreat is one of the best ways to enjoy a relaxing vacation while also finding peace within yourself. The classes at the Shanti Yoga Retreat in Wolfe Island, Ontario, are a fantastic way to take a break from the world.
Each retreat offers five classes along with mediation sessions, peaceful morning walks and an infrared sauna session, among many delights. When you’re not scarfing down on the multitude of daily vegetarian buffet options, you’ll have plenty of time to relax with a good book or walk the grounds.
The scheduled activities at Shanti Yoga Retreat are all optional, though you’ll get the most out of your trip by participating. Some amenities include canoes, kayaks and a water trampoline for those who enjoy the water. They also have cycling routes and a labyrinth for those enjoy more strenuous activities. Otherwise you’re free to lounge around on a hammock or relax in the meditation garden.
