Inspired by his mother’s heritage, Scott Conant brings the traditional Italian coffeehouse to New York City at Impero Caffé, the signature restaurant at INNSIDE New York NoMad. Tasked with the hotel’s food and cocktails, Conant serves a variety of classic dishes in a relaxed and inviting venue that already stands out in NoMad’s thriving restaurant scene.
For early risers, Impero prepares an assortment of pastries and espresso drinks before transitioning to lunch and dinner service. Conant is especially known for his house-made pastas, which appear in signature dishes like pasta al pomodor with his special ragu sauce and cavatelli with braised duck and black truffle sugo.
If your visit to NoMad is limited on time, a selection of the dining menu is available for in-room dining. For those who like to sit at the bar, Conant also prepared a separate menu with classic antipasti and desserts, accompanied by a list of specialty cocktails and an assortment of local drafts.
The head chef at INNSIDE is no stranger to great food, with multiple restaurants and awards under his belt, in addition to appearances on Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations, Chopped and Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern.
