The trip kicks off in Anchorage to explore the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park wilderness. Guests have the option to hike Root Glacier and explore the crevasses, glacial pools and ice caves or experience ice climbing. Next, travel to a remote camp for a multiday hiking trip with a local guide. Explore valleys, alpine lakes, the high-altitude tundra and wildlife. Up next, a rafting adventure on the Nizina River and flight-seeing tour of the area. This concludes the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park portion of the journey.
From here, guests fly to Valdez for a kayaking and camping excursion in Prince William Sound. Next, make your way to Heather Bay for a water tour of icebergs near Columbia Glacier. Guests also travel to Glacier Island, Columbia Bay and Bull Head for an up-close encounter with local wildlife including sea otters, harbor seals, sea lions, puffins and possibly orcas. The Glacier Island portion of the trip includes beachcombing and a hike through the rainforest. The journey brings guests back to Valdez, then Anchorage to depart.
