The Wanderu smartphone app is the next big thing to pop up on the budget traveler’s radar, bringing the best bus ticket deals from all over North America to the palm of your hand.
To start your trip, you enter in your departure location and destination, and Wanderu peruses the web to bring you the best prices on hundreds of different bus and train systems. Some tickets can even be as low as $1, if you plan far enough in advance and know when to book. They’ve compiled a list of tips to travel cheaply, which include traveling at off-peak times, like Sundays and during morning commute hours.
The Wanderu team makes a strong point to only list the most trusted brands in ground travel, so you can rest assured you’re not booking the beginning of a sequel to Taken. The app also plans every step of the way for you, down to finding the best public transit to bring you to your bus or train station. Currently, all ground travel is in North America, including locations in Canada like Montreal, but as Wanderu grows, they intend to branch out to Europe and other parts of the globe.

United Continues Its Global Expansion
United Airlines keeps soaring to new heights, recently announcing another expansion of its leading global route network.
