Under $100 / North America

Branson is an Ozark town in Missouri, popular for vacationing families. Visit the city’s culinary, cultural and historic attractions for less than $100 per day.

Bring your appetite to the Grand Country Buffett. Choose from hearty meat and potato options or something on the lighter side like fresh fruit and yogurt. Breakfast costs $8.49 plus tax for adults. Work off your meal with a stroll through Table Rock State Park. The 300-plus acre park features paved and unpaved trails as well as outdoor activities. Hours vary by season.

For comfort food classics, head to Farmhouse Restaurant. Popular among locals and tourists, the eatery serves up hearty dishes. Try the fan favorite fried chicken and signature blackberry cobbler for dessert. Spend $10–15. Sample some whiskey at Crown Valley Distillery. Spirits tastings start at $8. Tours are free with the purchase of a tasting. General distillery tours are held Wednesday–Sunday at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. and last 30 minutes.

Have dinner along the river at White River Fish House. Specializing in seafood dishes, the restaurant is popular among local fisherman. Don’t worry: If you aren’t into seafood, there are plenty of non-fish options on the menu. Dinner entrees start at $13.50. Partake in some retail therapy, or at least window shopping, at Branson Landing. There are more than 100 restaurants and specialty shops in the waterfront complex.

Check the calendar for events going on in Branson during your visit.
