Under $100 / North America

Tulsa, Okla. charms visitors with cultural attractions and influences from its geographical location. The second-largest city in Oklahoma has something for everyone.

Grab a classic breakfast at Dilly Diner. Served all day, enjoy traditional favorites and unique items like bananas foster French toast and chicken and waffles. Spend $10–14 on breakfast. The Golden Driller statue pays homage to Tulsa’s local oil industry. Located near the Tulsa Expo Center, the yellow statue stands 76-feet tall and makes for a great photo opp. Next, stop by the Blue Dome District. A stop on the iconic Route 66, the downtown neighborhood is perfect for a leisurely stroll while window shopping.

For tasty barbecue, head to Burn Co. BBQ. The team at Burn Co. smokes meat daily and prepares sides by hand. Keep in mind: Since the smoked meats are prepared daily, items can sell out fast. Lunch costs about $20. Visit the Philbrook Museum of Art. The art museum is located in a historic home with expansive gardens. Admission starts at $7. The museum is closed on Mondays.

Have dinner at Andolini’s Pizza. The pizzeria and Italian restaurant prides itself on doing pizza their way with the freshest ingredients. There are two other locations in Oklahoma: Owasso and Broken Arrow. Choose from the many classic and supreme pies, or create your own. Gluten-free options are also available. Pies start at $15. Grab a nightcap at Valkyrie. The lounge serves up unique cocktails and craft beers in a chic, industrial space. Drinks from the extensive menu start around $5.
