Weddings / Bachelor/ette Parties

Nashville, Tenn., is a great place to get a taste of Southern tradition. It’s also one of the most popular destinations for a bachelorette party. Why? Because it’s so much fun. Nashville has such a unique culture of country music, amazing southern traditional cuisine and an interesting bar scene. Overall, the city is a great place to let your hair down and listen to some great music and eat some great food.

So put on your cowboy hat, cowboy boots and a cute country dress, and hit up Broadway Street for a fun night with the girls. Here are a few places to consider.

Acme Feed and Seed

This is a great place that offers a tier-level experience. The first floor offers a casual BBQ-style table service where you can sit, eat and listen to the live band playing right in front of you. The second-floor lounge offers a different menu and even serves sushi rolls and fancy cocktails. You can also hang out on the roof deck with your cocktail in hand and enjoy the beautiful views of the city.

The Honky Tonk Central

The world famous Honkey Tonk Central has three stories of live entertainment where you can dance and sing along to all of the amazing bands. Don’t feel like you’re missing out on one floor versus the next, not one band will disappoint.

Tootsies Orchid Lounge

Many legends have played on the stage at Tootsies. It’s almost tradition to visit this place. As old as it is, it probably has not changed since opening and the spirit of Tootsies lives in the walls.

Monell’s

Be prepared for a feast of a lifetime. This family-style restaurant serves amazing, home-cooked southern favorites to tables filled with patrons. The best part is you are seated with other parties so you get to meet other people. Another great tradition they have is phones are not permitted during meal times. The owners prefer to have guests interact with each other than be distracted by phones. Nowadays, this is a rarity and a nice and polite way to have a meal with others.

Hattie B’s Hot Chicken

Chicken and beer is all you get, but it’s all you’ll need. Hattie’s is one of the most popular stops when down south and it does not disappoint. It will be one of the best fried chicken meals you have ever had. Call it as you spice it: Southern, Mild, Hot or Damn Hot.

The Grand Ole Opry

Many country legends played inside the walls of the Grand Ole Opry. If you happen to be in town during a performance, do yourself a favor and go to a show. The tradition of the Ole Opry started many years ago and still lives today.
