Weddings / Bachelor/ette Parties

More and more couples are adopting the trend of spending their bachelor and bachelorette parties together instead of hosting two separate events. If this sounds appealing to you and your partner, the next step is deciding on the type of party you want. Follow our suggestions for the best activities for a shared bachelor/bachelorette party.

First, consider your interests and favorite things to do as a couple. For the athletic couple, look into going to a sporting event or renting out a place like a driving range or batting cages to spend time with your loved ones. Plan a hiking or biking excursion followed by drinks and snacks at a local park. Up the ante and compete in wedding-themed games.

For beer and wine aficionados, look into a brewery or winery tour. If you like food with your booze, plan a meal at one of your favorite restaurants. Or learn to prepare a meal at a cooking class.

Check out a film or music festival, or simply attend a concert. If you want a larger-scale party, book a trip to your favorite city. This might cut down your guest list, depending on cost, location and timing, but it’s a great way to experience a destination with your partner and friends.

Whatever you decide, make sure it’s something you both love and want to share with your friends and family as a soon-to-be married couple.
