Weddings / Honeymoons

Once couples have tied the knot, more than likely they will want to get a fresh start in a new city. Deciding where to settle can be challenge and put a great amount of stress on the newlyweds. To help determine the best cities to live in, we’ve compiled a list.

Houston, Texas

This city offers various neighborhood options for newlyweds to find a community that works for them. There is plenty of space for a couple to make their own niche. Couples can take advantage of the thriving social scene downtown to socialize and meet other married couples.

Raleigh, N.C.

If Southern charm is for you, move to North Carolina. Enjoy the sweet, seductive life the unhurried region can offer. This city offers numerous options to meet other couples and is an excellent city when it comes to finding friends for the little ones’ play dates.

Minneapolis, Minn.

Minneapolis, the City of Lakes, is an excellent spot to settle down. The city boasts an above average mean income rate, allowing newlyweds to take advantage of all the city has to offer.

San Diego, Calif.

This is one of California’s largest cities, and heavily populated with newlyweds. San Diego offers everything from a bustling downtown scene to a gorgeous beach life and even iconic landmarks.

Charlotte, N.C.

Charlotte is a hotbed of activity as the second-largest financial center in the United States, second to New York City in terms of assets. The cost of living in the city is fairly low, perfect for newlyweds, allowing them to enjoy the beautiful city.

Arlington, Va.

Arlington has a growing millennial population, as many move to this city and commute to Washington, D.C. The city is all about the big bucks as median rent can be pretty pricey, but the crime rate is exceptionally low.
