Bricktown Entertainment District

This historic warehouse district now serves as one of Oklahoma City’s most exciting neighborhoods. Explore Bricktown Canal on a water taxi ride or by wandering through the streets, enjoy a wide variety of restaurants and craft breweries, listen to live music, and catch a baseball game at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

Oklahoma City Zoo & Botanical Garden

Oklahoma City Zoo is one of the nation’s top zoos. See more than 1,900 animals in their habitats of African plains, rainforests and beyond. Afterwards, head to the botanical gardens next door for tranquil green spaces and educational lessons.

Myriad Botanical Gardens

For a bigger botanical experience, head to Myriad Botanical Gardens, which features seasonal gardens, a children’s garden, fountains and a dog park. Don’t leave without stopping at the newly renovated Crystal Bridge Conservatory for tropical plants and a year-round immersive experience.

Lake Hefner

Enjoy some fresh air at Lake Hefner. Explore the area’s 9 miles of trails; get on the lake sailing or windsurfing; and check out one of multiple lakeside dining options, all offering beautiful views of the water.

Catch a Thunder Game

If you are in Oklahoma City during the NBA season, attending an Oklahoma City Thunder game at Paycom Center is a must. Next season’s games might be even more exciting since the Thunder may be the defending champs, as they are currently leading the series 3–2.

Factory Obscura

Factory Obscura, an artist-created immersive experience, is one of the destination’s most unique attractions, featuring large-scale, interactive art installations inviting play, curiosity and discovery.

Tellers

Enjoy Italian-inspired cuisine at Tellers, in the restored First National Center. This restaurant is in a grand Art Deco banking hall and celebrates the building’s historic architecture. Its menu includes handmade pastas, wood-fired dishes and unique cocktails.
