Headed to Florida this fall? Daytona Beach and the surrounding area have a bevy of fun events to keep you busy.
On Nov. 2–3, Halifax Art Festival welcomes visitors to downtown Daytona Beach for two days of a professionally juried and judged art show. There are more than 200 artists attending and the festival is the second-oldest continual art festival in Florida.
Over Nov. 7–10, locals and visitors flock to the simply named Greek Festival for costumed performances, traditional Greek food, music and a Greek marketplace.
Nearby, in Ormond Beach, Rockefeller Gardens welcomes guests to the 14th annual Riverfest Seafood Festival, Nov. 16–17. Enjoy fresh seafood, craft beer and live music.
Finally, right before Thanksgiving, head to nearby DeLand for the 31st annual Fall Festival of the Arts, Nov. 23–24. There are more than 130 juried artists attending this Florida arts fest, displaying and selling a wide array of mediums. Entry is free and the downtown setting allows for further exploration of area shops and restaurants.
