One of the city’s most iconic landmarks is Esplanade Riel, a pedestrian cable-stayed bridge connecting downtown Winnipeg and The Forks historic area with St. Boniface. This bridge is the only one in North America with its own restaurant. The bridge spans more than 800 feet and features a tall pylon and public plaza. Located just 1.5 hours from downtown Winnipeg, Pinawa Dam Provincial Park is a popular fishing destination, home to walleye, northern pike, catfish and smallmouth bass.
