When it was initially revealed, the Nintendo Switch was touted as a console to play at home and on the go.
While the console comes with everything you need to play on the television right out of the box, taking the console on the road requires a few accessories to make the most of the experience.
To start, make sure you have a glass screen protector to keep your screen safe in case of any type of emergency. The Switch has a large screen, and it would be easy to damage if it is not protected or you are not careful. These go for about $9 for two protectors.
The next thing you need is a case. These come in all sizes and materials, but the most reliable, from Nintendo itself, run about $20 and include a few extras, like game cartridge holders and memory card holders.
If you know you’re going to have a fair bit of downtime at any hotels, you might very well want to hook the Switch up to the in-room television. If this is the case, you’re going to want the Switch’s dock and extra controllers to come with you. Go with this deluxe carrying case, which has enough room for all the requisite equipment, so you can pass time in style waiting on your traveling group.
Aside from hardware, games are going to go a long way to keep you occupied on flights and during downtime. Pick up some of these integral pieces from Nintendo’s e-shop.
