Northern Ireland is home to some incredible landscapes that just beg to be explored. Luckily, there are lots of outdoor activities that will let you get to know the place.

Head out on to the white water rapids of the Blackwater River and you are in for a great day. A grade II-listed river, the Blackwater is safe enough for beginners while also offering an adrenaline rush for experienced white water rafters.

Skydiving is another popular option for travelers who want to see Northern Ireland in a different way. Book a jump with Wild Geese Skydive and you can launch yourself out of a plane before drifting down to the ground over lush countryside.

For something more sedate, take on one of the many long hiking trails in Northern Ireland. One of the most famous is the Mourne Mountain hiking route, which winds for 5.6 miles up to the highest peak in the country, Slieve Donard.

Get on two wheels and hurtle around the Rostrevor mountain biking trails for a real thrill. Northern Ireland is fast becoming a popular destination with trail riders, and Rostrevor shows off some of the best terrain around.

This app is a huge step up for those that rely on their memory or pen and paper to help them remember everything to pack. It happens all the time when someone believes they packed enough, but it turns out they’re missing a few items and it’s almost always something that is impossible to go without. This app will help travelers cut down on their forgetfulness and aid in making a trip stress free.
